Artist Statement
Julianna Rose is a self taught artist. Her mediums range from oil paint to watercolor, pastels, charcoal, photography and everything in between. With subject matter ranging from ethereal dream-scapes to realistic portraiture, Julianna's art spans many genres.
Julianna takes inspiration from her surroundings in Berry Creek, California. She often wanders out to the woods around her home to recreate a vision through photography which she will use as reference in a painting. Julianna’s work is meant to bring the viewer into her world of magic, merging dreams with reality.
In 2022 Julianna started bringing her camera to art faires to practice photography. This became a new love of hers and she now takes photos for four local arts and crafts markets. Taking photos of not only the vendors and their products to help other artists grow their profiles but also the people who come to see the art! Julianna loves capturing the moment artist and art lovers connect and find each other in their own community.
